Private Residence in Wilton, NH
(Third Investigation)

On July 28, the SPI group conducted it's third investigation at this private residence in Wilton, NH that was built in 1763. The residence was saged quite a few months ago, but we understood that there was still some activity present. Approximately a month ago, footsteps were heard ascending the stairway leading to the second floor and sounded as if someone were walking with a cane. Upon checking all possibility of it being a human, no one was around. Attending the investigation on July 28th was Susan Allen, Irene and Mario Boldini, Rita Lacharite, and our two newest members Patti and John Basiliere.

We arrived at 7:00 p.m., and began setting up. Mario and John did most of the set-up and we began our actual investigation at approximately 8:40 p.m.

Personal Experiences and Video:  Unfortunately, we did not capture any video nor did anyone have any personal experience.

EVP's:  Below are some EVP's we captured while investigating in different rooms.  There may have been more that were captured, but we discounted them because we could not be sure they were genuine.

The Cellar:  Sue and John was the first team to investigate the cellar. In the past, we had unexplained activity such as a plank being dragged, then dropped, and footsteps ascending the stairs to the first floor. This also was where Sue was touched by an entity. You can read more about the cellar by reviewing the first and second investigations. Sue was speaking, "...and we would appreciate very much if you would say hello to us this evening." At position :25 there is a disembodied sound like someone saying "aahh".    Sue captured a second EVP when she was saying, "Tell us your name please." There is a long pause, and at position :33 a loud clap or something like a snap was heard.    Later in the evening a second team, Mario and Irene, investigated the cellar and did not have any personal experiences nor did they capture anything paranormal.

In The Blue Room:  The entire team sat in the Blue Room for a little more than approximately 45 minutes.  We did some EVP work. Patti was speaking into her recorder and said, "I left you some peanuts on the table. Honey roasted. Have you ever heard of honey roasted?" At position :14 there are two knocks.

In The Canopy Room:  While Rita and Patti were in the Canopy Room, Rita captured these EVP's on her recorder. You will hear Rita say, "Was it your parent's room?" and at position :12 - :14 you will hear three clicks.    Rita captured a second EVP. You will hear a sigh at position :18 which we believe was either Patti or Rita and between position 's :20 and :21 there is a very loud tap/click.    When John, Irene and Mario were investigating the Canopy room, this EVP was captured. At position :05, Mario said, "Do you not want us here?" and at position :14 there is a loud bang like a door shutting. 

After our investigation, we do feel that perhaps some of the former spirits did leave after the house was saged. However, from the EVP's we captured and some of the pictures we captured, we do feel that there are some spirits who still reside at this residence.
