Private Residence in Contoocook, NH 
(Second Investigation)
April 25, 2009

Upon presenting the homeowner with the evidence we collected from our first investigation at this private residence in Contoocook, NH, we were invited to return for a second investigation in hopes to gather additional evidence to determine what type of paranormal activity is happening on the property. Remembering the history of this house; that this home was built in 1896 and later turned into one of the first Texaco station's in New Hampshire, and then back into residential property, we felt that we had enough reason to return for a second investigation.  Click on this link to read about the first investigation.  Private Residence in Contoocook, NH (First Investigation) March 27, 2009.  We returned on April 25, 2009, to further our trek into the unknown paranormal activity that is happening in this house.  Attending the investigation was Chris, Sue, Irene, Mario, Rita, and Jessica.  We had recently purchased a Q-See 4 Channel DVR (video quad system) along with 4 InfraRed cameras and was anxious to put it to the test.  Upon reviewing the evidence we captured on video, we felt we had made a good investment.

We arrived at 7:00 p.m. and completed our equipment set-up around 8:30 p.m. It took us a bit longer than normal to set-up because of the new equipment. We split up into teams and began our investigation at approximately 8:45 p.m. We completed the investigation at 1:00 a.m.

Personal Experiences in the Boys' Room:

Chris and Sue were investigating the room labeled as "the boys' room" doing some EVP work. Sue was speaking into the EVP recorder saying, "When we were here last time, you said to Mario, ""Don't take this off."  It was at this moment that the EMF meter (a meter that measures electromagnetic field energy) light went from green to orange/amber. There are five lights on our EMF meter. From left to right, the lighting pattern is green, light green, yellow, orange/amber, and red. Green indicates normal EMF field energy and each color thereafter represents a spike of higher EMF energy. In the parnormal community, it is thought that high EMF readings may represent an entity attempting to manifest. In this instance, the meter went from green to orange/amber indicating that we probably had a presence of energy with us. Sue then asked, "If that was you, can you do it again? Just make the light go to amber like you did. That helps us to know that you're here with us. Please do that for Chris and I one more time. You must want us to know that you're here. That's why you did it." At that moment the light spiked to the light green and Sue saw a translucent orb pass between she and Chris.  We tried to coax it to perform again, but it appeared to be gone.

EVP's Captured in the Boy's Room:

When Irene and Mario were investigating the "boy's room", Irene was speaking into her EVP recorder asking, "Can you let us know if you're here? Give us a sound? Tell us your name?" You will now hear the response she received that sounds like a male blowing into the microphone and soon after that saying, "hhhaaa."

Personal Experiences in the Computer Room:

While in the computer room, Sue and Rita were attempting communication with a spirit.  After a bit of coaxing asking the spirit to change the color of the lights on the EMF meter from green to orange, the meter spiked from normal green to orange/amber.

EVP's Captured in the Computer Room: 

1. Rita and Sue were discussing the time. It was 11:17 p.m. Though it is too faint to know for sure, it sounds like we captured an entity saying, “Do you see anyone here?” We did not include that in our synopsis because it is too faint to hear, but we do mention it because right after that it sounds like an entity with a female voice saying “come.” Then there is a pause and Sue begins to speak.  
2. Sue and Rita were talking and then Sue said, “Oh yeah, there’s Irene. She’s walking around.”  There is a long pause and then what sounds like the same female entity saying, "they can" just as Sue begins speaking about the cameras being hot.  
3. Rita was trying to coax an entity to touch either Sue’s arm or her arm.  After a long pause, it sounds like a female entity (maybe the same one) saying, "Mel."   

Personal Experiences in the Master Bedroom:

Sue and Chris were in the master bedroom waiting quietly and hoping to catch something moving or to hear something. That didn't happen, but Chris had a personal experience. He was able to hear voices that were in the far off distance having a conversation. It happened more than once. Sue did not hear the voices. We looked out the windows to see if the neighbors may have been outside making conversation with one another, but there were no lights on at the neighbors house and there were no people outside anywhere. Chris said the voices didn't sound like normal conversation. They were very faint. We have no explanation for this.

When Chris and Jessica were investigating the master bedroom, though they didn't see it with their naked eye, an orb was caught on camera. It could have been a lone piece of dust, but it was the only orb caught on camera in the master bedroom throughout the evening, so we thought it deserved to be mentioned.

EVP's Captured in the Master Bedroom:

1. While Irene and Mario were investigating, Irene said, “Can you give us a sound if you’re here?” and a "click" can be heard. Irene continues to say, “Let us know” and a second  “click.” is heard. 
2. Irene is conversing with the entity and saying, " ...I don’t know if you come and visit when she’s home or you just come when she’s out of the house. Can you let us know..."  Irene continues talking and soon you begin to hear either a slow tapping or maybe walking that continues for a little while. 

Personal Experiences in the Living Room:

None of us had any personal experiences in the living room.

EVP's/Video Captured in the Living Room:

1. A couple of weeks ago, the homeowner had told Sue about one of her cats being frightened one evening while resting in the living room. While doing some EVP work in the living room, Rita and Sue were speaking about that night. Rita said, “…and who frightened the cat?” A car passing by can be heard and then a very faint “yup" followed by an inhale, an exhale, and a long inhale but the last inhale was not followed by an exhale which we found to be odd.   On video we captured a cat lying on the back of the couch. The cat slowly looked up toward the ceiling, stared at the ceiling for a while, and then looked down toward the couch. Immediately afterward, caught on camera, was an orb that faded in and out as it passed by getting brighter and brighter each time it reappeared.
2. Rita and Sue were talking about Rita’s experience she had at The Common Man Restaurant when Rita saw an apparition. Rita said, “That was so real.”  If you listen closely, a whisper can be heard saying, “Where was you or Where was ya?”
3. Jess and Sue were sitting quietly on the couch. They were the only two people in the living room at the time. No one was talking. Listen carefully and you will hear a slight "whistle."  Neither person was talking or moving around. We have no explanation for this.
4. Sue was doing some EVP work asking the entity(ies) to introduce themselves. In conversation she asked, "Tell us who you are?" There is a pause and a few seconds before Jessica begins to speak a faint "moan" can be heard.

 Personal Experiences in the Kitchen:

While Sue was walking into the kitchen the camera caught a white anomolie across the backside of her pants. We couldn't find any explanation as to what it could be. It appeared to be a moving orb. The end of the evening was approaching and Rita, Sue, Irene and Mario decided to sit at the kitchen table using the EMF meter to see if we could coax any spirits to join us. Sue said, "You can change the light from green to orange/amber or from green to red. We can use that as a means of communication." Rita then said, "Do you know that you died?" and Sue asked, "How old were you when you died. To our surprise, the lights on the EMF meter began lighting up. A question was then asked; "Are you trying to tell us that when it flashes, it's yes?" Immediately, the light flashed and we understood that when the meter lit up, the entity was saying yes to us. It is too lengthy to describe every question we asked, but to name a few:

1. Are you Native American? The light flashed for yes.
2. Does this mean that you are attached to the land? The light flashed for yes.
3. Are you stuck here? The light did not flash.
4. There was a pause in activity and finally Rita said, "Are you still here with us?" The light flashed for yes.
5. Have you been here for a long time or do you just come and go? The light flashed for yes, but because there were two questions being asked we are not sure which question was being answered.
6. Are you a male? The light flashed for yes.
7. Is your last name Brown? The light did not flash.
8. Do you know the lady that lives here? The light flashed for yes.
9. Are you a relative of the lady that lives here. The light did not flash.

Upon ending our session with this entity, we feel that we learned he is a male Native American Indian that inhabits this property because he lived in freedom while he was here. He means no harm to the homeowner and probably enjoys having a bit of company around and that might be the reason why he tries so hard to make his presence known.

EVP's Captured in the Kitchen:

1. Rita said, "...or give us a sign? It must be close to the witching hour here?" There is a long pause and then a voice sounding female was captured saying "help."   Rita said, "...but there have been several things that my Guardian Angel was there for me." What we think is a male voice can be heard saying, "boy."
2. Irene said, "...make some kind of a sound?" and you can hear a loud bang and then Rita asked, "Is Mr. or Mrs. Brown here in this house?" and another bang is heard.
3. Mario asked, "Please do the same to me that you did to Jessica?" There is a pause and then you can hear a very faint, "No."
4. Sue said, "Can you tell us how old you are?" Listen carefully and you will hear "hhmmm."   
5. Sue asked, "Thank you. You're back with us?" What sounds like a female voice can be heard saying, "Yeah."  Sue then asked if they left something on the recorder for us. You can then hear two claps. 
6. Sue said, "We'd really, really like to take your picture. Could you please, please come in front of the cameras?" Listen closely for a female voice saying "No."
7. Sue was asking them to make the light on the EMF meter change colors and said, "Could you do it just one more time please?" and immediately a female voice is heard saying, "No." 

It was 1:00 a.m. and we decided to conclude our investigation. The EMF meter had become inactive, and we felt the spirit(s) we had been communicating with had left, so we decided to wrap it up. We know from each of our investigations that there is more than one entity that lives in harmony with the homeowner. We found no evidence that the homeowner has anything to fear. The homeowner is comfortable knowing that the entities appear to mean no harm and feels they can all live together peacefully
