Private Residence in Ossipee, NH (Fourth Investigation) July 19,
2010
After having investigated this property three times, we thought we would make
this a follow-up investigation rather than a full-fledged investigation. So, on July 19th, John, Patti,
Michelle, and Sue headed to Ossipee. Our invited guest was the renowned "CC The Huntress". CC has had
many years dealing in the paranormal, and our hope was that her expertise would help us to figure out what was
causing all of the activity at this property.
One of the instruments that CC uses on investigations is called a "ghost
box". Some of you may have heard of it referred to as "Frank's Box". It is a modified radio that
continuously scans AM and FM channels. The theory is that it helps spirits to communicate with us through the
white noise that it produces while it is scanning radio stations. We seemed to get a lot of hits from it that
evening. We tended to ask it questions that we already knew the answers to from previous investigations, and
the responses that came out of the ghost box were pretty accurate for the most part. For example, one of our
questions was, "How old was Samuel Nutt when he died?" The response we received was "21". We know
this is a fact because the gravesite of Samuel Nutt is buried on this property along with his tombstone.
Etched in the tombstone is that he died at 21 years of age.
Furthering the session
that we had with the ghost box, we inquired about a murder that is said to have taken place in the
house. At this point, we were testing the ghost box for its accuracy. We had information
about a husband and wife who lived here with their son. The husband was suspect that his wife was
trying to murder him. He wrote a note and gave the sealed note to an elderly woman who lived down the
street. He asked her to give the note to the police if anything should happen to him. It is said that
he died at his kitchen table two days later from being poisoned. The note was never given to the
police. The session with the ghost box gave us the names of the family members involved as well as many
details connected with the murder. Due to privacy for family members who are still living, we cannot
reveal any additional details, but we do know that it is said that a murder did indeed take place in this
house.
There are too many questions and answers to list pertaining to the session with
the ghost box, but SPI was pretty impressed with the information both old and new that we learned.
We were doing an EVP session in the living room and captured an EVP that sounds
like a baby crying. We cannot relate this to any of our previous findings, so the only thing we can think of
is that at some point in time a baby lived here. You can hear a baby crying right after Sue
says, "We're in the living room now..."
CC was able to capture some EVP's on her digital recorder and played them back
for us in real time. CC also filmed this investigation for us, and we want to thank her for her consideration
in this matter.
At the end of the evening we investigated outside the house. Sue's
recorder captured the following sound, but we cannot say if this is paranormal or not. It might have
been an animal lurking in the woods. We can't be sure so we will let you decide. You will hear the sound
"woooooo" right after Patti says, "You do not need to be afraid, Charles."
On our first investigation, which was in February 2010, Sue wasn't sure why but
she had feelings that this property was at one time a burial ground. Sue had never told this to CC,
but on this investigation CC picked up the same feelings. So, now we think we may have a link as to what
is going on here. If this was indeed some sort of a burial/battle ground then there is death that lies here
and has never left. The energy from the spirits that are still here continues to haunt the property.
There are also spirits from those who have lived here in the past that have never been able to leave. When
asking the spirits if they wanted to leave they seem to not want to go. The current residents have decided to
live in harmony with the spirits; therefore, we made no attempt to cross them over.
We captured two pictures of interest to share with you. Pictures From Investigation in Ossipee, NH

Though SPI has declared that they truly feel this property is haunted, it was
satisfying to have a renowned icon such as CC The Huntress to conclude here findings as.....
"HAUNTED".
