House in Western New Hampshire
 March 20, 2010

It had been a long time coming, and then one day we received word that this house in western New Hampshire that we had hoped to one day investigate was going to happen. I really want to stop right here and thank those persons that were involved in obtaining permission for us to investigate.  It was very kind of you Teri, and the rest of the board members to give us permission to investigate this historic house.  We also want to thank Karen for the guidance and assistance she provided to make sure this investigation ran smoothly.

We must advise our readers that due to the privacy of our client, we cannot reveal the name of the house nor its location.  As always, it is very important to SPI to respect the conditions of the investigation as set forth by our clients.  For this purpose, we will refer to the establishment as a "house".  We have been given permission to use the first names of the folks from the facility who accompanied us on the investigation who are Teri and Karen.

History:

This house was built in 1837.  In later years, it became the residence and law office of a community leader, town official and state legislator.  The gentleman owner was married twice.  He was first married to Lizzie who died in June of 1867.  They had a son together who died in Sept. of 1867.  He remarried a gal named Flora and together they had a son born in November of 1883.  There were four known deaths that occurred in this house - 3 young boys and the gentleman's first wife, Lizzie.

General Claims:

In the Tool Room (first floor) - S
leigh bells ring without anyone moving them.

In the Office and Living Room (first floor) - A feeling of a presence has been reported in the office area as well as the living room.

In the new Kitchen (first floor) - According to a 20 minute session with the KII meters there is definite spirit activity in the kitchen.  (Note: When TAPS investigated this property, they decided to see what in the basement might make the floor above (this would be the kitchen area) set off the KII. They were checking for electromagnetic fields, but did not get any readings.)

In the Children's Room (second floor) - Toys turn on by themselves and there is a feeling of being hugged by a small child. Also, the neighbors that live in a second floor apartment next door to the house have said that most every night they see something moving very quickly across the front of the children's room window at night. The apartment is approximately 20 feet away.
